Dear Warriors,
First of all, we would like to thank you for your endless patience. Die by the blade is a project that all our team members have put their hearts and thousands of hours of hard work into, which is why we would also love to see it on the shelves by now.
We would like to assure you that we are still working on the project and the PC version of the game has been ready for release for some time now. However, since we promised to release it simultaneously on PC and consoles, we have to bring console versions to the finish as well, which is what we have been working on for several months now.
We know that we are not far from the finish line and therefore we sincerely hope to be able to share the good news about Die by the Blade with you in the very near future.
Many of you have asked us in the comments or on discord if you will be able to change the platform you'd like to get the game on after release. Of course it will be possible. As soon as we announce the new release date, we'll send you a questionnaire again, asking you to choose a new platform or keep the old one.

Hey there warriors!
We’re excited to finally announce that our first demo will be coming to Steam NextFest on February 6th.
Our first playable demo includes single player 1v1, local multiplayer 1v1 and online multiplayer 1v1, so you can take on opponents in your own home or across the world. We’ve included three beautiful locations for you to fight in, three playable characters with slightly different stats, and two weapons, which will determine your move set and playstyle. At the moment, the demo does not support online friendly matches, so all online matches will be with random opponents.
We will be more than happy to hear your feedback on the demo, so please head to our Discord server and follow us on social media at @dbtbgame for the latest updates.

Important Announcement About Our Release Date

Hey Warriors!
The last few months of development have been really busy for us. As many of you know, we've attended many events around the world, including EVO, EGX, PAX and Gamescom, where we showcased Die by the Blade and collected your feedback. We've been really pleased to see you having so much fun playing our game and fighting your opponents in the fast-paced 1v1 duels that Die by the Blade offers.
Nevertheless, during this time, we've come across a few issues. For example we weren't satisfied with the voice over recordings for our singleplayer campaign and we are also dealing with performance issues on old-gen consoles. And since we want to make the game as polished and as enjoyable of an experience as it can possibly be across all announced platforms, we’ve decided to push back the release date of Die by the Blade again. We know this will be disappointing for you to hear and we’re sorry for that,but we did not take this decision lightly. We believe that this extra time will allow us to bring you the one-hit-kill action seamlessly across all platforms at once.
We will now be releasing Die by the Blade in early 2023 and will release another announcement soon about when our new release date will be.

We won't make our public announcement about the delay until tomorrow. We wanted to give our Kickstarters early notice about the delay and more detailed reasoning as to why we're delaying Die by the Blade. We'd appreciate it if you didn't mention the delay outside of Kickstarter or our Kickstarter exclusive Discord channel until after our public announcement"

Warriors, the time has come!
With Die By The Blade's release date closing in, we're about to start shipping all physical rewards to their rightful owners — you, our backers! 3D printed statues, knives, rings, and more will be speeding their way towards you in the coming weeks. As we're shipping from Europe, backers in the US may need to wait a bit longer to receive their rewards, so thanks in advance for your patience.
Be sure to send us a photo or two when you receive your collectors' editions — we'd love to see them.
